What we do

The Hertfordshire Heritage Fund was launched in 1988 as a charitable trust, to assist accredited museums in the county to purchase or conserve items relating to Hertfordshire's past and make them available to the public.

Since 1988 some 80 grants have been given. These grants have assisted in the purchase of several hundred items and several thousand documents for the county's museums and for Hertfordshire Archives & Local Studies.
